Accounts Receivable Clerk
Conner Prairie has an opening for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to manage and record all monies coming into Conner Prairie. The A/R Clerk is responsible for processing and verification of daily cash receipts, daily maintenance of the accounts receivable system, monthly bank account reconcilement as well as monitoring the cash vault. Work schedule is Wednesday through Sunday and will be required to work most holidays. One-two years related work experience including cash handling required. Proficiency in Excel a plus. Assistant Pilot
Conner Prairie is opening the search for a part-time, April-November, Assistant Tethered Balloon Pilot. The position is responsible for providing guests with a safe, high-quality tethered balloon experience. Additional responsibilities include: flying balloon according to set schedule, recording/filing all flight patterns, airspace and regulatory information, assisting guests in loading and unloading, maintaining highest safety standards, and be able to work nontraditional hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.
The certification process will consist of a 3-week off-site training program and a one-week on-site specific balloon pilot training culminating in a final exam. Conner Prairie will pay living expenses, travel and the cost of the training program. Upon successful Aerophile certification, the applicant will be paid a salary for the four-week training session. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred with 2+ years experience in tethered or hot-air balloon flight.

Lead Pilot
Conner Prairie is opening a search for a full-time Lead Tethered Balloon Pilot. The Pilot will interact with guests to provide a safe, high-quality tethered balloon experience. This is a 24-hour on-call position to ensure the safety of the balloon in weather related emergencies. Responsibilities include: balloon maintenance, supervising and scheduling Assistant Pilot, flying balloon to set schedule, filing all flight patterns and regulatory information. The successful candidate will have knowledge of aviation technology, ballooning, climatology and meteorology and be able to obtain the Aerophile French Aviation Authority DNC pilot certification.
